CW Norcast is a new company formed by Clara E. Norris. Norris has 30 years of experience managing and directing casting companies.As a General Manger with Accu-Cast Clara recruited, hired, and managed an independent sales force of 21 manufacturers’ representative agencies to expand international sales across North America, Canada, India, Taiwan, and Mainland China. She was also responsible for managing house accounts, both domestic and offshore, to develop production programs, design reviews, and technical issues, as Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. During Clara's tenure with Accu-Cast she was an integral part in transforming a small local company to one with an international customer base, increasing sales from $1.8 million to a high of $10.0 million.

Receiving her associates degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Chattanooga State Technical College in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Clara has never stopped learning about her field. She is currently active in the Society of Manufacturer Engineers, American Foundrymen’s Society, and several continuing education programs, such as, Interaction Management Programs, Cost Estimating Programs, to quality programs focusing on Six Sigma and lean manufacturing. Thanks to her training and personal experience in the field developing cost estimate programs, effective pricing strategies, customer relations policies, Kanban agreements, consignment and inventory programs, and liaison for offshore programs Clara is uniquely prepared for any management situation that might arise.

In a world where companies can't afford to not have an international presence Clara Norris has both the experience and drive necessary to work within any culture. Any manager can read a file about operations in a overseas factory and assume they know everything that is going on. Very few are willing to broaden their horizons and personally traveling to 26 overseas factories to review and qualify processes, such as, die casting, investment casting, sand casting, permanent mold process, Gravity cast, powder metal process, and numerous machining processes. Yet that's exactly the kind of hands on management Clara brought to operations in Taiwan and Mainland China.

Now after decades of service learning her craft Norris has formed her own company, CW Norcast, as the go to source for manufacturing processes, both domestic and offshore, sourcing the manufacturing of the most intricate designs and bringing solutions from the casting and machining industry.
